At first, I was a little overwhelmed. They have a bag system where you pick the number based on your meat and then customize it by marking your condiments on the bag. I liked it because you can see all of your options and know that the person making your sub knows what you want. Also, indecisive people can't hold up the line because there isn't one.
It took about 5 minutes for our subs to be ready, which was seemed pretty quick. My Buffalo Chicken sub had a great mix of flavors. The buffalo sauce was a tad spicier than I generally like, but the avocado was fresh and cooled it down. I also selected ranch dressing, but didn't see it on my sub. I wish they had an option for sautéed mushrooms. The ingredients all seemed fresh, especially the tomatoes.
The bread wasn't anything special, but it wasn't bad either. The 7 inch regular was plenty for me, but go bigger if you don't get full easily. The staff was very personable and helpful, which was important especially since it was our first time there and we weren't familar with how the bags work.
Do differently next time:
If we hadn't planned on going to Farr's afterwards, I would have definitely tried a shake. Also, though my Buffalo Chicken was good, next time I'll probably try another flavor.
Good Choice. It wasn't my favorite sub/sandwhich place, but I did enjoy it and would go back again.
